Letter of Praise for Signature Pet Services and Lee Wyllie
When my father was admitted to the hospital I knew I had to fly home to southern Ontario asap and this also meant I needed a pet sitter asap to care for my 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer-Piper and 7 year old German Shepherd-Zumi. Leaving my dogs in a kennel facility was not an option as my dogs are my children and I knew and understood the value of dogs needing familiarity to help them feel safe and secure. Dealing with the family issues that I was going to be dealing with I needed to know that my dogs would be OK and not feel stressed about leaving them in someone’s care. I had never left my dogs in anyone’s care, so not only would it be a new and unusual experience for me...but also for my dogs!
When I told Lee of my situation her words to me were... “ Don’t worry, it’s going to be OK” and for some reason I felt a great sense of trust in those seven words.
Lee had met my dogs once before and they gravitated to her immediately so I already knew that my dogs liked her. So I took a leap of faith and left Lee instructions for my dogs' care for the weekend.
While I was away she called to let me know that they were doing fine and gave me an update on what the three of them had been up to...and again, reassured me not to worry.
When I returned home three days later I had fully expected my dogs to be anxious upon my return, but instead they both looked at me as I walked through the front door - without getting off their beds - with a look that seemed to say... “Oh it’s only you...where’s the fun chick with the cookies and toys?”
My dogs where relaxed and happy and that made me very happy.
I can’t say enough positive things about Lee and the service she provides. Not only is she a life saver but she genuinely cares for the dogs she is in charge of. My dogs' relaxed and happy state upon my return was proof enough that Lee cared for them as I would.
I will most definitely use her services again and I highly recommend her to anyone who is considering a pet service. She is thorough, making sure she had every detail of my dogs daily routine so she could provide the same for them. She has a natural calming energy about her which helps the pets in her care remain calm as well. And as I mentioned, she genuinely cares for the pets' well being.
I would suggest that you put her on your speed dial and make sure you become a regular client as her time and services are in demand and there are very few pet sitters like her around.

In-home Dog Boarding Service
From the initial contact to the communications the service was excellent.
I appreciate this type of service in my own neighbourhood and I can rest easy that my dog is safe and well cared for. In our case, he seems to have the best of both worlds in that he stays with Lee and her "family" and comes back home each day while Lee looks after our other pets. Lee is very knowledgeable and willing to care for special needs pets requiring medications.

Leaving our 'sidekick' Tuxedo for the first time with a "stranger" was a huge decision. The first visit we had with Lee gave me great trust in her devotion to any dog in her care. Thank you so much for all the care you gave to our dogs while we were on vacation. It was wonderful to be able to call home and find that you were there looking after our dogs – the same way we would if we were home! Your detailed phone calls about what had transpired that day gave us assurance that our best friends were being looked after extra special.
We loved reading the daily logs that you left for us, after our return, so that we could see what had happened each day and anything that had come up – in case we needed to follow-up. The sore on Jake’s paw was practically healed by the time we came home – thanks for taking the time to apply the medicated cream.
We’ve had dogs since 1982 and have had many people ‘sit’ our dogs – none of them were as ‘in tune’ to the dogs as you were. Yours was the best service we’ve ever had – our dogs were happy to see us, however it seemed as though they also missed having you come in the door as well. That was quite a difference from when we normally come home from a vacation where they practically won’t let us out of their sight for the first few days. It really proved to us that they were very happy to have you stay with them and that they felt they were well looked after too!
We’ll certainly be using your services again and will be highly recommending you to all our ‘doggy’ friends.
